Any one else here obsessed with physics?

I've not seen those vids, but had come to the opinion (in my unprovable ill-educated fashion) of something similar. In that time is just the anthropic perception of causality, which equates to something like the units of space that make up the three spacial dimensions and is ... - oh great, here...

    Riddles

I too tried to determine the true meaning of tangible, but in the end, I just couldn't grasp it!

    Riddles

    Sorry - "International Space Station"
  4. Boogs

    Riddles

Ah, the answer is 'tangible', how kind to give that out so easily! 😉😉😉 More seriously: ISS?

    Riddles

I'll ask mine and see if it can enlighten me... No, sorry, it's in a bristly mood at the moment. I need to trim back it's autonomy.

    Time zone?
  7. Boogs

    Riddles

Yes! I obsess on the meaning of each word in the context it's delivered. I'll spend time making sure I've exactly and precisely expressed what I mean to say in, for example, a message at work (email/textmsg whatever), and the huge irony is it seems the more care I take to do this, the more...

    Definition Of Depression

Seconded. It's a spectrum (of course!) and it's at least partly about how much it effects normal daily function as to how it's diagnosed. On top of which as @Judge says, there are different types that can't be directly compared. Some people can live with low level depression all their lives...

    Riddles

I had this subtle feeling it may not have been appropriate! 😊 (But it made me smile!)

    Riddles

Ear wax!!! Ew! 🤢 Hmmm, I've just had a thought! Are there any restraints on how rude this may be? Because I've just thought of an answer I shouldn't write down! 🤭

    Riddles

"... seen as an oil" - A non-polar hydrocarbon that's liquid at RTP and reflects visible light? (Surely that's specific enough? 😄) (sorry! I couldn't help it! @Outdated's beard made me do it!) Aw, ok then - engine oil?

    Riddles

Sounds like your mind works best on imagery and maybe other sensations more than words? I doubt if I could make puzzles unless they were word based, or had some sort of rigid logical abstract structure (and then I'd be the only one who understood it, never mind could solve it! 🙂)

    Riddles

You obviously haven't tried my poo! 😆
  14. Boogs

    Riddles

Touché! If it weren't for the third line of the riddle, I'd say "poo"! 😊

    Riddles

Well your language skills far surpass mine. Your communications are usually quite clear to understand. Missing some vocabulary is hardly surprising if it's all from films and games. In fact, being so good at riddles in a foreign language is quite impressive!

    Riddles

It's too simple to be correct, so lets exclude 'light' as the answer?
  17. Boogs

    Riddles

I can understand that, I have a fascination with using words as I have no other conscious perceptions internally, so they have a rather big part in my thinking (er, about 100% 😉). Plenty of native english speakers find my writing a little troublesome. Problem is they decide on their own meaning...

    Riddles

Just realised, giving confirmations of correct answer in rhyme makes it look like more clues! Doh!
  19. Boogs

    Riddles

Yeah, me too, unfamiliar with that, but it was the same thing as redundancy, so hats off to @1ForAll!

    Riddles

At least I'm consistent! Consistently inconsistent!
