10 years ago, where did you think your life was going?

Self-explanatory post.

Kind of nowhere. I had nothing going for me then, except my love of anime. I was still rough around the edges, and would occasionally get into a few tiffs, but not anymore. I'm more stable now - and I am a better person for it. :)

I was a second university student who decided with my sister to go to a con in late March. We worked so (not) hard on our costumes and attached them with hot glue. It didn’t fall apart, we had a good experience and now it’s a hobby.

10 years ago I was on the verge of retiring. I was wrapping things up and handing off projects. Then figuring out a budget.

approx 10 yrs ago I was spiralling in slow time in to what would transpire as the Mother of all long term melt downs.

Did I think, back then, I'd still be here? Upgraded and partly reprogrammed?
Nope :)
... am rather pleased I am though. Neuroplasticity rocks :D

I was married looking at divorce as soon as my daughter finished her third year of HS.

I really thought I'd be married by now and make lots of friends at college/university. But then again, life doesn't work out as you planned it.

I thought I was going to be looking for a foster care home or ALF.
Now, 10 years later...I am.
