5-minute survey: cannabis-based medicines

In the UK, cannabis-based medicines can be prescribed for conditions such as epilepsy and multiple sclerosis. Research suggests that cannabis-based medicines may be useful in treating other physical and mental health conditions, however controlled clinical trials are required to ensure these medicines are safe and effective.

Researchers within the Psychoactive Trials Group at King's College London are looking to develop a trial to test whether a cannabis-based medicine (in oil form) might be helpful in treating anxiety in autistic adults.

We are looking for autistic adults who experience anxiety, aged 21+, who live in England to take part in a 5 minute survey. This survey will ask your view on our proposed trial design (for example, whether you would be likely to take part).

The survey is not research in itself, it is classed under 'Patient Public Involvement'. Results will never be published, but may inform the design of the eventual medical trial. Your responses will be anonymous.

The link to the survey can be found here: Qualtrics Survey | Qualtrics Experience Management

If you have any questions about this survey please contact [email protected].

Thank you.

I feel like the side effects of this plant are very harsh on social function. But the individuals are not aware of it, it's external notice.

So for autism IMO it's not the best in interpersonal relationships.
