I'm a 24 year old professional student from South Carolina (by which I mean I'm an unemployed undergraduate limping towards an Associate's degree). I'm officially diagnosed as Bipolar with PTSD and panic disorder, but there are also indicators that I may also be an Aspie (sharply-defined interests, difficulty with social cues, etc). However, working with the resources provided by my state has proven fruitless towards being evaluated to see if I have an Autism Spectrum Disorder. No one ever bothered to test me or have me evaluated while I was in public school--I was just the weird guy only a select few had the desire and/or courage to approach with anything but disdain.

I have made a few friends over the years, but they're all distant (IRL and the ones I've made online since acquiring consistent access to the Internet).

Anyway, I'm glad to have found a place where I may be able to find a few more people with whom to at least have common ground with.

My interests:

  • Math and Physics (The math part's only been since I've been an adult--complex numbers and geometry, so far--but the science part has always been of intense interest to me)
  • Writing Fiction and Reading (not as much as I used to)
  • Singing and Music in general (the "singing" is usually metal vocals, but I listen to many genres)
