A New "Wallace & Gromit" short is coming out this winter...and an old foe is returning...

This teaser trailer came out a few weeks ago but I've only just seen it now and I thought I'd share it with you all.

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl

Not gonna lie, this teaser trailer has gotten me somewhat excited, especially as I'm sure a lot of you who have watched The Wrong Trousers will remember Feathers McGraw (the evil penguin) for reasons good and bad. I will be keeping tabs on this and remaining tentatively optimistic for three reasons.

The first reason is that Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers will be a hard film to top, both as it won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short in 1994 and for the fact that it's a nostalgic film for many - including myself.

The second reason is that with Wallace's voice actor Peter Sallis having passed away in 2017, and not everyone taking to his replacement Benjamin Whitehead, there's naturally going to be comparisons between the two for this short film.

Finally, the sequel to Chicken Run - Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget - didn't really work for me (although I did like the Feathers cameo), so I'm hoping this one will be good.

Creature Comforts was terrific as well. Only five or ten minutes long each episode but nowhere else did I find a slug with a Yorkshire accent.

Funny coincidence, for the last few days that Penguin and his blinking beady black eyes has been bouncing around my brain. And I had not heard this before now. Hardly psychic however since odd stuff is continually coming to or dreadging back up the old noggin.

God. I've not seen Wallace and Gromit in forever. Not since Art Class. When we watched all of them, before doing our own basic claymation projects. That had to be in High School.

I remember really liking the art teacher too. Now if only I could remember his name...
