I am a 20 year old male with high-functioning aspergers. Just looking to get invloved with an aspie community as ive spent the last 20 years figuring out life on my own.

Computer/console games
Board games
Deep thought

Music (I play drums, piano and ukulele)
Space (all about it but im more interested in alien life)

I enjoy sensory stimulation (e.g insense sticks, self massage, sensory rooms)

I work in care for the disabled and love it no matter how much they trigger my noise sensativity haha

Greetings!

Ah, I share a few of your interests. I like computer games and board games. I find small talk to be not really worth the breath but deep conversations I'm all over. I especially like to talk about mental health and neurological conditions, obviously having experience of both. I like a lot of music, I don't play instruments, although I am loosely practising throat singing, which I can kind of do. But I like a lot of music. I only don't really like jazz, folk and RnB. The rest I can usually find a few gems worth adding to my collection.

I also have had a change in what I'd like to do as a career, I'd like to work in mental health or something autism related as opposed to IT now. I think I'd get more fulfilment about of it and be happier.

you have very interesting interests,im into a lot of them to including pub meets, i love sensory rooms to i attend a very big one called the space centre when i have the spare money.
do you have any websites youve made?

what kind of disabilities do the people you work with have? its a good job to work in as youve got a lot of experience to bring to the job,im in 24/7 care and used to be on 2-1 support but ive had aspie support staff before who were bullied by NT staff because they didnt understand their totally innocent behaviors,so it comes with its down sides to i guess.

i saw in your other post that you struggle to socialise with other NTs, im the same,ive never interacted with NTs before as they are either scared of me and stare or bully me.

I'm not into figures or techie stuff - being female, that doesn't apply; some female auties & aspies are into all that of course, but it's only recently been recognised that it's not a criterion for having the condition, and that's why so many females have fallen through the net and gone undiagnosed.
I play the clarinet, on & off, and used to be a nurse for people with learning disabilities. I used to play Scrabble a lot, and other board games as a child, but not really now.
