Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan continued: "RIP 'Allo 'Allo star Gordon Kaye, 75. Wonderful comedy actor."

So sad, I used to watch reruns of 'Allo 'Allo with my grandparents when I was a kid. Good memories.

My Dad loved 'Allo 'Allo. I hated it, but he was the keeper of the remote so we had to watch it. That and Dads Army.

Allo Allo was iconic in its day, it was one of those timeless comedies rhat never gets old, stuff like Fawlty Towers was the same.

One random fact about Gordon Kaye: he was injured in the Burns' Day Storm (25 January 1990). This storm has curiously all but vanished from the British collective memory, despite causing more damage than the earlier storm on 15/16 October 1987. It does have a Wikipedia entry however.
