An unusual idea for a game that uses LEGOs

I recently asked for a LEGO classic set for my birthday, which unfortunately hasn't arrived yet, and some minifigs to go with it, because my awesome brain has sparked yet another idea for a game.

The working title being "Figs In The House", the game has you constructing your own set LEGO minifigs which will live and hopefully thrive in a structure you build out of LEGO bricks. I have been a LEGO fan ever since I was a kid, and I am so intrigued by it; I used to experiment with LEGOs by using them for stop-motion videos I used to mess around with, they were called "brickfilms" back then, heh.

Anyway, the game will work like this, when my set arrives and I start posting pictures on my blog here of the gameplay:

You create a set of minifigs that will be made into individual characters that have their own stats, skills and abilities, and will co-exist, mingle and thrive in a structure you build. You can do multiple "instances" of this and have a whole "village" going if you want, but the "easy mode" would be just maybe five or so minifigs in a medium structure. You can build the structure however you want on any size baseplate that you can fit. The minifig characters you create operate on their own, through dice rolls, which refer to a dice table that dictate where they go and what they do. The only way to influence anything they do is by spending studs to change something about their environment, for certain prices.

Rinse, lather, repeat until you get bored or everyone dies.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is Figs In The House.

Is this a sigle player game? I can imagine this would be fun if it included special pieces that are only available with the game set.
Sorry, I am a human creature driven by my base instinct for reward. :) There aren't enough single player games with tactile game play so it has a lot of appeal.

It can be single player, if you wish. Multiplayer simply works "across the airwaves" if you're using a computer with Discord or something, the same way DnD games are played over the internet; with everyone's own LEGO sets, they take turns announcing what's happening. So, it isn't necessarily multiplayer in the gameplay sense, so much as it is more of a "get together" type of deal.

Oh I see. You should develop the idea and decruit some. Beta testers. Sorry I can't be a tester though. I live on a boat and don't have room for legos.

You.... Live on a boat?

How do you even have internet access?

Yes. It is a 38 ft sailboat. When we are on our mooring we use our phone as a wifi hotspot. At the moment we have a slip in a marina. They have all the fancy stuff, wifi and showers! :p
