Animal converstation

Is it an aspie trait to seek to communicate with animals without self conscience? Are animals as valid to communicate with than other humans? I spend a lot of time talking to my cat and trying to understand his behaviour.

Yeah . . . I don't think it's specifically an Aspie trait. We on the spectrum might feel we have more in common with animals without personifying them (as humans tend to do with their pets), but it's something I think most people do.

I talk to the horse I ride for therapeutic purposes every week. His name is Marvel.
