Just saying "Hi", 29 year old, self-diagnosed (but pretty confident about it) with Asperger's. Over the past year I spent a lot of time doing research online about Asperger's and trying to determine if I have it or whether my "oddities" were due to other reasons, but after finding lots of articles and forums like this one, I am pretty sure. I wanted to join in on the discussions because it helps to see others with the same differences that I have.
I held down a full time job for a delivery company for 8.5 years but even there I had some trouble advancing due to social issues, despite my ability to do the jobs better than coworkers who did advance (I heard the dreaded phrase "you are so smart, why can't you just _________" regarding social relationships). I left and dedicated myself to one of my real obsessions, which is a particular type of dog training called "agility". I can teach others as I see fit, deal with people on my own terms, and generally it has made my life more stress free and given me the time to do things like internet research about myself.
Like some other Aspies, I have trouble limiting myself when I am the topic of conversation, but I'll leave it at that. I suppose it is also typical of ASD that I had trouble gathering the courage to even start a thread to introduce myself, and found myself wishing that there was a previously-established thread where I could just pop my head in briefly...
