Any high functioning professionals in London?

Outwardly quite successful with a post graduate education, professional job, a spouse, and firmly middle class lifestyle. On the inside held together with chewing gum and masking tape, and could grind to a halt with one or two direct hits. Would love to hear from similarly afflicted.

Hi Don, I think you have a very qualified Guardian Angel. I hope you can manage to relax a bit. You might find a really great person taped up in there. A lot of us know how necessary some personal TLC can be. Welcome! Enjoy the forum.

Don, welcome to autismforums.com. We are glad you have joined.

We may not have a huge membership base in London but we certainly can relate to how you feel about yourself.

What might a “direct hit” look like for you?

For me it may be the loss of a spouse, cancer, heart attack, the local donut shop closing down ..... big stuff, earth shattering events.

Maybe I could face these events simply because I can name them. I don’t know.

What do you think?
