Anyone ever worked in local Radio? And not just Hospital Radio!

I have, from April 2006 to September 2007 I worked for Chrystal Radio, based at Sheffield Children's Hospital as a DJ on the Sunday afternoon request show, nobody ever rang up to request anything so I just played songs on the computer to anyone who was hopefully listening.

And then after I got a job from October 2007 (After I'd passed an Enhanced CRB check) working for HBS Radio at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, worked there till I left in April 2011 because I thought I was getting a better job but it didn't happen because the demand for my services wasn't there.

So anyway, has anyone worked on Hospital Radio or proper Radio? Done Breakfast show or anything of the sort?
