Anyone here like old-school electronic music?

Anyone here like old-school electronic music?

If so, tell me what you think of this fantastic not-so-well-known album called "Automat" that I recently discovered:

Old-school electronic music is probably my favorite kind. I like Kraftwerk a lot and also Yellow Magic Orchestra (I think of them as sort of the Kraftwerk of Japan) and Vangelis.

This YMO track was actually used as the theme music for an Italian game show from the 80s, which I find kind of amusing for some reason.

That album is pretty cool. Never heard of it before. Thanks for sharing.

Delia Derbyshire, best known for engineering the Doctor Who theme song. She was a genius innovator in her time. It's mind boggling to think of how much labor went into making this music as all of the sounds had to be made from scratch and the tapes spliced by hand.

WARNING: This is some seriously odd and unsettling music.

Kraftwerk were Kings in their day. There is the added bonus that they actually played their keyboards, no preset patterns, no midi controlled patterns.
They did it the old way, the right way !
