Anyone know anything about glasses frames

Unfortunetly I broke my Ana Hickmann glasses frame, I have had the frame since 2016 and just been getting them adjusted since in strenght. I sat on them and it snapped. I have tried glue but couldn't get it to hold. I have some new glue of a different type coming tomorrow. I could try that, i'm not sure though how long this is meant to last? I have been told and seen different advice. I was told by my own optican any frame online would likely not work and I need a like a specalised job. I have read though on some glasses website that any frame would work with any glasses. I would to get a good deal as I can. I prefer to order online if I can.
I have seen some glasses I like.
I like these
Green B2343 Square Glasses Frames - TK Maxx UK

The Ana Hickmann glasses on the frame this information was found 54 15 145 145 is the arm length. The Burberry are Lens: 51mm. Bridge: 20mm. Arm Length: 145mm. Is it going to work. What do you suggest I do.

Does your optician have any recommendations on a suitable, affordable frame? Same optician might also be able to offer advice on glue.

Looks like they were nice looking glasses. I hope you can either get them repaired or get a good replacement.

Thank you jsilver256 and FayetheAspie for replying and for your advice. I do find this all a bit confusing. I do like those glasses frames I linked to, but I think being so unsure I would do well to stick at least those measurements on my own that I posted if I am going to make a purchase online. Shame I cannot find the exact same pair today lol.
Edited to add:
Interesting, just found this.

I never had any luck with fixing broken lenses - it’s always not quite right and can break again so easily.

@Rachie, did you check out this part from the first link you posted? I think that’s what you want - to get your lenses fitted to the new frames.

You need hard plastic glue and a tool that is small enough to coat the inner frame without touching the lens like a sewing needle

Rodafina thank you, my lenses are ok, it was just the frame that broke. I can fit the lenses myself if I was to buy a new frame. The lenses have come out of my glasses a few times and I have just fitted them back in.
Thank you for both of the advice I recieved about the glue. I am not sure if the glue I bought is the right type, but I will look into it. I wouldn't mind if I had take this to someone walk in who could just fix it on the spot pretty much without sending it away.

I get my glasses on line from Zenni, and find them an excellent deal. When gluing things together, it is important to have any old glue, skin grease, etc. cleaned right off. Epoxy should not be clamped tight, or it may not have enough As and Bs in the thin layer to cross-link. I don't see a picture of the damage, but for jobs like that, I can usually make them stronger than new with just a thin wrap of fiberglass in the very light modelmakers' weaves. You'd probably need to practice with that, though. If you can't find a small quantity of liquid epoxy for the cloth, crazy glue will work fine if you use it well. I might pull out one fiberglass thread, and use it to wrap around the cloth to hold it in place for the glue.

Thank you for your advice. I am a bit sceptial in being able to do a good job of this myself due to my history of repair lol. From what you've written it may seem there is some life in it yet. I bought some Gorilla contact adeshive and that seems to be the wrong glue so I need to reorder as been suggested in this thread a more suitable type?

It is strange that I have not been able to even find the history of this glasses online. The arms have changed colour since I bought them as they use to be the same colour as the frame. They are just me lol. The model appears to be HI4001 T02. I have attached a photo of my glasses.

After posting, I realized that while fiberglass goes clear to let your colour through, strong repairs can also be done with cotton or other available cloth and crazy glue. You would definitely be well advised to get plenty of practice repairing broken pencils or other plastic bits. The splices will need to be sanded down and re-coated with something clear to restore the gloss. A plain edge-to edge repair is the hardest job for any glue. Some people would find a glue that works well enough to hold until bumped, and then gets re-done.

Thank you very much Shevek. I need to get some glasses asap. I have decided just to go to my opticians today who have said they have quite some range on green frames. They did tell me it won't just work online. My glasses were just standard frames. Hopefully the prices are competitive somewhat. If I find it not ok I intend just note the brand and purchase it online. I will have my current pair though to be able practice on.

I went to the opticans today and they didn't have any green glasses that fitted my lens. I was told I had a cats eye lens and that is the most important thing when looking for new frames. I was told they can vary a bit as well. I think it was around summer I paid £165 for bifocals to upgrade my lens. I had the glasses for 8 years.
I tried on some new glasses and because I bought my lenses not long ago they offered me a price deal on the new lenses for over £200 including new frames. The glasses were 51 16 140 which fit me fine.

It wasn't what I was expecting so I needed time to think and take another look at Google with the new information I had. I had a look at home and got fed up with it. I just called the opticans and paid for the new glasses. The ones I have will be a spare pair. I should get them in about a weeks time.

I have been using rubbing alcohol to get the glue of my old glasses. It works well. I did quite a poor job with them and the optician noticed I had tried the glue method.

I needed a bit of time to come back to this update. I think the glue we have available in the UK is poorer than in the US. Bostik has a hard plastics glue, and it seems to be as good as it gets and Epoxy is a bit above me. I also lack experience in soldering and filing and sanding the glasses.

I took it to two glasses shops and managed to get it to hold using Locite glue which they claimed to be for all plastics and hard plastics. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0001GRVPU?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
I got it to hold finally, but when I went to put my lenses in the pressure made come apart again.

This is an issue which is a opticians said I will face with gluing. I also tapped it also, Again I was told the lens measurements are the most important thing and the best thing I can do is just wait and search and see if I can pick up a pair the same as what I had to swap out the lens Ana Hickmann green frames HI4004 TO2 in acetate green. If anyone is that skilled I could send it to them to pay for their time.

Now, I am just using my new glasses and frames by Joules Ada Joules JO3060 51-16-140
