Anyone obessed with creative writing?

I wouldn't call myself obsessed... but it's a favorite pastime. Sometimes when I have a block I just read about writing and try to think about motivations, technique, etc.

I'm not obsessed by it. But just give a pen and a pile of paper and I could write an entire new story. I wrote a little bit in the past. I have 4 little handwritten books full of various stories. Somehow it's extremely easy for me ... I just write a title, then I write write write and after few hours I have a story that makes sense and all. I re-read some of them time to time and they aren't bad at all ...

Sometimes I feel I wasted my special talent.

I love creative writing, it's cathartic for me. Helps relieve stress and stuff. My writing blog is at bridgeoverstyx.com if you want to see it.

I get obsessed(for a day), but once I start writing, I'll usually get bored and believe my story is lame.

Doesn't matter what others think! Writing is about passion for a subject, and many popular authors struggled or were repeatedly turned down before someone got it. Harry Potter was almost never published.
