Anyone read the book "Can You See Me" and its sequels?

Hellooooooooooo!!!

It's about a British girl with autism at high school. It's my kind of book.

The thing I love about it is that the main character, Tally, has autism but it's very non-stereotypical and is probably one of the best things that describes autism so accurately without actually emphasising any of the symptoms or stereotypes. She is no Rain Man or Sheldon Cooper. She's not nerdy or high IQ or anything (just average IQ). She loves Taylor Swift. She has a lot of empathy and can actually understand body language and other non-verbal cues, although she can be literal too when it comes to sarcasm.

I also like the way the NT characters in the books aren't portrayed as these perfect, superior beings with unlimited empathy and selflessness, like how a lot of autistics think all NTs are. But Tally doesn't have unlimited empathy either. It holds a message that nobody's perfect, whether you're NT or autistic or otherwise.

I've just ordered the forth book in the series, Pieces Of Me or something like that. I'm looking forward to reading it when I get home from work tonight. Unfortunately I can't find it on audible, only the first two books in the series (which I have on audible).

This book sounds like a breathe of fresh air among all the other media decipting autistic people! Wish i could read it too.
