Topic.

Personally I don't think I am, there's a few photos of me on my Facebook, including fancy dress stuff, but it's not that good.

I tend not to share "Selfies" and stuff on-line, just upload them to my personal Picasa account and email my Brother the links.

How about you lot? Do the poll and discuss.

In a similar question without me doing a separate thread, are you telegenic? Do you look good on TV?

No, absolutely not. Although if caught unaware, apparently not too bad and my husband said that it is because the camera is showing how utterly uncomfortable I feel, which is so true; I hate having my picture taken and as for selfies? Well, let's say if I hate having my picture taken, then why would I do selfies lol?

Anyway, I find selfies to be very narcissist.

This picture of me was taken when I did not know it was being taken, ie the camera just pointed and clicked, by my husband.

For me it depends, on things like facial expression (I am bad at 'smiling' for photos), lighting etc. sometimes I look great, sometimes I look awful. There isn't a "both" option though.

Well, since I am old, fat and ugly, no, I would rather people did not take my picture. I certainly do not take selfies. I do not what to be responsible for a bunch of broken camera's.

I think 'Photogenic' and 'Aspie' are two words that very rarely come together. But it can happen. I have noted a few.

Point taken. Although I'm fascinated particularly by female Aspie stares. Love em. Would make a great photo essay. :)

I probably am more than I'm willing to admit actually. There's a few really bad photos that overshadow all the others, I think. I try to be optimistic about myself.

I am definitely not photogenic, especially if I am aware that photos are being taken. I freeze up and get a horrible fake smile and generally look very uncomfortable. I also have a big head with a round face, fat nose, and small mouth. Something about the camera takes away any definition my bone structure might have, so it looks like my head is just a big dough ball with hair.

Nooo!! Not at all. I go blank in photos. Especially if asked to pose for the camera and force an expression. Yuck. I abhor seeing pictures of myself. Blank expression...empty.

I don't think so, I don't know "how" to take photos.
If smile, I look like an idiot.
If I don't smile, it looks like a bitchy face.

Well I took a couple of "selfies" at Yorkshire Cos Play yesterday and I think they turned out quite good, I can't post them though for personal reasons, I've just uploaded them to Picasa and sent the link to my Brother.
