Asia - how to get more autism help and support

I'd imagine that Asian Aspies/ Auties basically want the same sort of help/ support to any other Aspies/ Auties. In the sense in which people are 'just people', regardless of skin colour/ ethnic origin/ 'disability'/ etc. Obviously, how you'd go about 'fitting in' to your country's society/ culture will, in any practical sense, be very different & I'm sorry I can't advise at all about that part. Let alone how to get the help & support in whichever country it is, as I don't know what is available there & I don't suppose most people here will have much more of an idea. I can't get help/ support/ advice here for the UK & there's a lot more Aspies/ Auties here from the UK than from your country!

Now that sucks.

Given that I do not feel comfortable (for mostly ideological reasons) with the autism community in my country, me not being good with the NT community (they're too focused on something I do not agree) and that the grass seems greener in the other places, I'll just enjoy the green grass first.

Now thinking about it.

My local autism community was considered to be myopic - we don't know that we can empower autistic people in our country and even our region, through increasing acceptance and creating conditions ripe for it - through a joint project that uncovers the gifts and talents of each and every autistic person. We are so unique, we will have something 'special' to share with the world.

Now...The project was aborted. But the group is still there, thriving. :)
