Aspergers question and possible correlation, or at least, similarities to other diag.

I've posted in chat, but something tells me I'm going to miss any replies unless I make a thread to which I am then subscribed:

I am watching Law and Order: Special Victims' Unit: they are talking about Turner Syndrome. They have said they can be very bright.

That rings a bell, not to sound egotistical. Is there any relation, whether correlated for definite fact, or simply similar to Aspergers? Wikipedia says it's a Chromosomal Abnormality disorder, but I'm STILL not so sure there's not a connection to Aspergers, or even, any of the rest of the ASD umbrella.

Any ideas? I'm extremely curious now!

Thanks in advance.

I was a Pediatric nurse and I have AS. I don't believe the two conditions are related. Go to this site :

Welcome to Turner Syndrome Foundation

and note it is a female anomaly with very specific physical abnormalities. I suppose a girl might have both syndromes but Turner's can be diagnosed with lab tests and a physical exam and AS can't.
