I am apparently a "dismissive avoidant." While all the things I read pointed to this being a facet of my childhood, I couldn't help but feel it also kind of mirrored my autistic traits. I am sure there is an overlap, especially since my dad was autistic. I was just curious if anyone else had researched this topic and if there were any studies that factored in autism.

I was recently diagnosed with a personality disorder. There is major overlap between trauma, autism, and pd symptoms.
