Looks really interesting, they could do an even better job if they used the Xbox 360 kinect for Windows instead of a standard webcam, it's actually improved over the Xbox 360 version as it can work with you much closer to the camera as well as further away which the Xbox 360 version needs for it to work properly, but the better technology on the PC version is still totally wasted as no-one seems to have the rights to produce any software for it (it's crazy, but I suspect it's caused by Microsoft wanting to sell the Xbox). Anyway even with a normal webcam it seems to work well from what I can see on the video and I'd love to give it a try.

The big question is are they producing this because they truly want help people with Aspies or are they really doing it to make lots of money? In other words I wonder how expensive the software is or will be to get hold of, if it costs an unaffordable and ridiculous amount of money that the average home user couldn't feasibly afford (E.g. 100s of dollars or more) then it would be a great shame. If the software is produced by people who truly care then the software would cost only enough to cover their expenses or to make a small profit for the people involved to live reasonable, but not extravagant lives. There's nothing worse than knowing there's something available that can help you that you couldn't possibly afford because the people who produce it want to make a fortune out of your disability, similarly my friend is severely dyslexic and cannot afford the ridiculous prices they put on PC software that would truly help him. If they do charge ridiculous amounts for this software, then I'm sorry, but they'd deserve it if a pirated copy was leaked for people to download instead, but very specialised software is rare to get hold of in this way.
