Looks like the retailer "Toys R Us" is going to make a brick-and-mortar comeback. Hope it works out.

Interesting. I wonder why they didn't just keep half a dozen stores and their website open. Maybe it was better financially to declare bankruptcy first?

They did in September of 2017. However the only party to ultimately profit from it were all the lawyers. Within six months the bankruptcy went only one direction- south.

If they can make physical toy shopping into an "Experience", then they can make it. The experience has to be something you can't get online. Possibly let people try out toys there, have employees demo-ing them, etc.
