BBC Radio 4 programme seeks views of autistic people

ARM UK has been contacted by the BBC Radio 4 programme, "The Report" (which
airs on a Thursday evening from 8.00 until 8.30).

They are interested in talking to autistic people who have experience of
being on Incapacity Benefit or Employment Support Allowance and then being
re-assessed as qualifying for Job Seekers Allowance only.

They would also like to talk to people who have experience of appealing
against this.

They are also interested in people on Incapacity Benefit or Employment
Support Allowance who have been assessed as capable of working and have
taken a job.

They are particularly interested in talking with people who have had a
negative experience of the benefit system.

The programme about disabled people and the benefit system will air in a
couple of weeks.

It is not specifically about autism so it would be great for a autistic
perspective to be represented.

Anyone who wants to contact the programme makers can email us at
info.armuk at googlemail.com or telephone on 0191 2596384.

Please pass this message on to any relevant people, forums, or email lists.
