What books about Autism do people like. I’m a big fan Of Curious Incident of the Dog in the Time but I know a lot of people don’t like this one. For my family this was great boo to read just after I was diagnosed. Mockingbird is also good but hasn’t aged particularly well (talks about spectrum as line, functioning labels, repressing Stims, aspergaus) but Ido think the books pretty accurate to my experience of being 10 and autistic. How to fly with broken with wings is good but does use the term aspergaus.
none fiction wise I really liked How to Be Autistic. Great to see some female representions and Thinking in Numbers.
