Interestingly, Broccoli Cauliflower and Cabbage are all exactly the same species of plant, just different cultivars.I like it enough, but it’s not something I can eat all the time, and I prefer it with other ingredients.
I prefer cauliflower and cabbage actually.
I'd heard about Broccoli and Cauliflower, and seen a hybrid Broccoflower. The other close relatives I know of are mustard and Kale.Interestingly, Broccoli Cauliflower and Cabbage are all exactly the same species of plant, just different cultivars.
I guess one could call me old, but I have always loved broccoli. - Always.Broccoli is a bit tricky to cook. You have to cook it just long enough so that it's still firm and bright green. Most people cook it too long and turn it into a sickly green-brown mush that makes the flavor stronger. Most people think if you hated broccoli as a kid but love it as an adult it's because you've "matured" but that's not true at all. It's really just that our taste buds get less sensitive as we get older. I like broccoli, but I am definitely not mature.
