It is actually some other forum, that's similar to this, where the admin left it unmoderated.
The guy just spams like an idiot on it, using multiple aliases.
But in general, it's time to do stuff offline too, because I find being online all day ain't healthy.
Sometimes being online is safer, especially where l live.
Yeah, this sort of thing can depend wildly depending on the area.
Like, where I'm at, this general region and the nearby towns are, overall, very safe, with next to nothing happening at any given time. To the point where if something DOES happen, it's big news. This is a very rural area.
Buuuuuuuut, drive for about an hour on the tollway in a north-east direction and you'll find yourself in Chicago, which is a freaking hellhole. VERY dangerous place. I dont envy those that actually live there. Heck, you could not pay me any sum of money to get me to go there. It's nasty. For those that are stuck there... yeah, online is DEFINITELY safer.
Godspeed Paul Lee!
How fast is "godspeed" anyhoo .
Thanks, Tree. I knew it wasn't about velocity, actually. I failed to make it obvious enough that my question was facetious. Words are a special interest for me and I do remember looking up "godspeed", but didn't remember the origin of the "speed" part. It's not about velocity.
Godspeed, meaning "a prosperous journey," comes from the Middle English phrase God spede you ("God prosper you"). It was originally used to wish success to someone, like saying, “May you prosper.” These days it's more often used to express hopes for a safe trip.

I had lived in Libertyville and had enjoyed many things about it. Some of the concerts at Millennium Park. The National Museum of Mexican Art in the Pilsen neighborhood, especially as Dia de Los Muertos approaches. Last time I did Bike the Drive, there were 26,000 cyclists turned loose on it. there is the positive and negative about many places. And, the Chicagoland region has an amazing network of bike trails.Yeah, this sort of thing can depend wildly depending on the area.
