Can’t believe my luck

There are many illnesses going around right now. I just spent 40 dollars at the laundry mat cleaning my blankets. Thought I’d go to McDonald’s afterwards with my worker. She ran into someone she knew and gave him a hug. Then he said he had a stomach bug yesterday and was puking his guts up. He was talking close and had his hands all over the table. My worker picked up my bag for me before we left and gave it to me. We both stupidly didn’t wash our hands before we left. But I washed them when I got home at least. I don’t want to catch this bug because my whole apartment is carpeted, it cost 40 bucks at the laundromat and it’s right before thanksgiving in Canada and I want to see my family. I’m really scared right now.
 
Update: Thanks for the hearts everyone. Sure enough I woke up feeling sick. Feverish and fatigued. I don't feel nauseous yet. But I definitely feel like I'm coming down with something. I had to cancel my worker today. Which is too bad because it's a nice day and I'm lonely. Also I could of used her help. Yeah I might not be able to go to my parents for thanks giving. Which sucks because I was looking forward to that. Yuck. I feel gross.
 
Fast incubation is a hallmark of norovirus. If there is any good news, it's that it usually has no lasting consequences, but makes you sick for about three days after which you recover. It's virtually impossible to avoid, as perhaps as few as 8 viral particles are enough to infect a person. It also persists on surfaces for weeks.
