Changing your mind when it's too late

Well, what do you do when you change your mind? Go through hoops and cancel? Or just pull through anyway?

I've learned to push through and see how it goes even if I change my mind. If I were to cancel everything if I changed my mind last minute (or past last minute), I wouldn't get anywhere at all.

I usually have no way of undoing my decision once it's too late, like if I turn down an offer to go somewhere and my parents go without me. By the time I'm considering going, they've already been there for hours.
