I can’t hold attention on anything without pictures. Just find it so difficult to read...not sure if I have dyslexia or not just can’t keep focus on books.
I was also fond of Kitchen Princess.

I loved the action bible as well!

I enjoy Sara Varon books. Sure they are intended for kids but that doesn't really matter when they are so well illustrated and the stories so cute. Good is good.

I read these from about age 11 to 15 and then joy of joys found a superman novel which I can't remember where it is ,which was in black-and-white published in the 1940s reprinted in the 1980s.
like the 1940s illustrations but I read some British comics but didn't like them as much .
I read the Beano for a short while ,liked desperate Dan especially when he was eating mashed potato with sausages.
