Christmas

Thank you FayetheAspie. Here are scriptures uploads that the church I attend had in the lead up to Christmas I have attached them and will in another post some naviety scences as well. Happy Christmas to you.

The 1st was from the 1st December The Readings were from 1 Thessalonians 3 :9-13Psalm 25:1-9, Gospel Luke 21:25-36.

The 2nd was from on the 8th December the sermons was (Malachi 3: 1-4), (Luke3: 1-6).

I wasn't well last week for week 2 so wasn't able to attend Church. I have attached though the sermon from this Sunday the 23rd below.

The Gospel was Luke 1: 39-55. The reading was from Micah 5 2:5a. The Psalm 80 1-8. This is such a powerful psalm and said when in great need to see God.

Over the weeks leading up to Christmas I have shared some of the selected passages have made me sit up and wonder especially at this time of year speaking about the return of Christ. I think many Christians are tired now with the past few years and have been through a lot in the world. We just need to keep on holding on.

Linus explains the true meaning of Christmas, from A Charlie Brown Christmas, 1965:

I'm not sure the exact chapter and verse, but the speech is from Luke. Widely recognized as one of the great moments of American television.
