I feel very dizzy and very much outside of my own body right now. I am having trouble concentrating on much of anything at all. I can't be like this since work has to be done at the office today. I need to snap out of this state ASAP, this very second.

Any brilliant ideas here?

Move! Maybe run around, stretch, do some calisthenics - anything vigorous! It’s just an idea, but sometimes a good deal of physical movement can help me get through what you described for a little while anyway.

My other idea is to find something to laugh at – maybe watch a few funny videos or anything that really makes you chuckle.

Also, make sure you are eating and drinking, even if you don’t feel like it. I don’t mean to tell you what to do, I should say sometimes that what’s in the background of my problems when I am feeling depressed. Force the food and water and the brain works better.

I hope you were looking for all sorts of ideas… Not just the brilliant ones.

I am hitting the gym before I get home from work today.

Ever feel so angry that you became dizzy? That really is me right now.

Now I am home and I just started to cry. Strange. I rarely ever do that.

Feeling your emotions and crying is a good thing. Emotions do pass when you do this. Hope you have some nice food to eat, and wholesome ideally. I like pumpernickle bread, and bircher muesli. High fibre does us good! Also yoghurt and I made 17 portions of thick tomato and marrow soup from the allotment. Frozen now, and doing courgette or marrow and tomato chutney soon. Get some good whole meal and wholesome food. Some of it is yummy and it makes you feel virtuous for eating it, whilst also being yum

I am making chipotle beans and rice with fresh vegetables mixed in with it all for dinner tonight. It will have a kick in its flavor. I plan on doing this low sodium style.

Well if it's clinical depression, you should probably seek help, therapy, psychiatry, etc. If you just mean that you're very unhappy then carry on. It sounds like you're doing great.

Can you explain what you mean by this post, @Fino ? Are you saying, carry on being unhappy to a person who has multiple trauma and depression? To me it sounds sarcastic and unfeeling. What did you intend?

No, it was a direct response to the post above it. Based on that post, it sounds like he's handling his difficulties in a healthy and mature manner.
