I also posted this information in the parenting forum, but I wasn't sure if everyone would see it there so I thought I would also put it here.
The College Readiness Guide at Home outlines academic skills, self-advocacy skills, life skills and even self confidence skills that teens/ adults need to be successful in college.
There is also a checklist with a range from 1 to 5 to help decide how prepared students are.
If you want your child to attend college - no matter what age they are - this is a great resource to figure out where to focus efforts. Our kids often benefit from a step by step program to help them learn new skills and having a plan can help it feel less overwhelming for everyone.
The guide is free - you just have to put in your email address.
