It's time for a new game: complete the list! Here's a few examples for you:
Cosy Soak
Scented Bath Foam
Bubbles
Whirlpool Bath
Luxury
Milk
Hot Cocoa
Sighs Of Softness
Scrubbing Brush For Itchy Backs
Bubble Bath Beards & Hats

Now it's up to you to complete the list! Ready? Let's go!

Play scales
play arpeggios
riff to song favs
record and write stems
🎶🎵🎼🎧🎹
I can do the others for a bit. but just a bit.

- I do like smelling the gums and staring out at the view.
- Stroking and talking to my cat
- running my fingers through grain

balm to my soul.

OK, I just have to ask, because I don’t play any instruments, but I do sing. For me, when I get really lost in a piece, I have the most massive, multi-sensory stim moments… when I can feel the sonic vibrations resonating on a cellular level, and feel different tones in different places in my body. I get this to a lesser extent listening to live music, and it pretty much dies out totally when listening to recorded music. Do you have any similar experience? Your special interest in music is what led me to ask you specifically, but I’d also be i terested in hearing from others.

Yes, I have similar things with stims. Fingers on the keys, fingers on strings, Using a bow on the cello or bass. it’s physical being part of the sound. I’m endlessly nerdy about sound, variation quality, grittiness, reverb, phasing ….. Listening to certain music is completely overwhelming. I’m going to get back into singing. The band i’m joining want me to sing and play. I used to be a pro chorister at age 10. It was a total stim singing the psalms. I’d never thought about it. Soooo yes vocal exercises it is. Thank you.
