Cool or Rainy or Snowy Weather!

Yes, I love cool weather and Autumn. I love winter. I love rainy days.

Honestly, I am not much of a Summer person; The sun is too bright for my eyes and the heat cooks me.

I am quite pale, that is, I do not spend much time outside; Although I do love camping, hiking, etc, when I get the chance which is not very often.

I a so happy that Summer is almost over and Autumn is just about to begin...

I absolutely hate hot weather. It will completely ruin my mood.

But I thrive in cold weather. I like the clothes better, hot drinks...the winter/fall events better...the atmosphere, everything.
And I actually enjoy walking around outside on a cold day. Everything looks better.

My genetic line has never adapted to hot climates, I know that much.

For me, hot weather would have to be for now... I literally cannot stand being in the cold nor do I like getting wet under the rain.

I don't like either hot or cold weather very much (my favorite part of the year is late October-early November). If I had to pick a slight preference, I'd say it's for hot weather simply because it's what I'm more used to. I don't think I would cope well with living in an extremely cold climate. One think I do like about winter is being able to sleep under a big pile of blankets on my bed. It seems to be a common thing for people on the spectrum to enjoy having a small amount of weight on top of them; there's probably something similar going on there. There are some places online that sell specially-made weighted blankets for people on the spectrum (I think some NT people like them too); I'm thinking of buying one sometime (it will probably be a few months before I really get to use it) even though they're a little expensive (probably worth it if it provides some sensory relief and lets me sleep better).

Can't stand the heat. I would rather it stay a consistent 45-65F or something like the West coast climates with little variance in temperature, cloudy or not doesn't matter to me. I could probably make do with a tropical climate for a while like Singapore's, only to get sick of it after so long. Here in North Texas the heat has skyrocketed to the 100+ range for quite some time and it doesn't look like we'll be getting any relief for a while, at least not until late September/early October if the historical records are right.

Your post sounds exactly like me, all of it (*see highlighted quote) :lol2:

Ah. 45-65F with little variances in temperatures and rainfall is perfect weather. :)
