Dansk dreng på 24 søger andre Aspergere

Esben

Member
Hej :)

Hilsen Esben

Hi :)
My name is Esben, and I come from West Jutland. I like asparagus like many others, and since I do not know other "like-minded" (besides a few cousins) I would like to know some.

I could think of one as I could discuss everyday ups and downs with one who really understands what I'm talking about. One does not mind having "deeper" conversations than just smalltalk.
It's up to you how often you just feel like writing / talking :)

If that sounds like something for you, feel free to write a message in the thread

Hej, tak for sammenføjning Aspies Central fora.

Stadig tak for introen.

Hi thanks for joining Aspie's Central forums.
The main language of this forum is spoken in English.

There are many people who are on the spectrum primarily to find some answers or to fit into society.

If you have questions, feel free to ask?

[edit] Just noticed that you were here for a while. Thank you for your intro.

Huh? Is that a language (or is your cat walking across the keyboard)? :D
No need for alarm Grumpy, you haven't woken up on a different planet. It's just Danish. :)

And hi, Esben.

I hope you don't mind I put the translation I got from google here. (i've edited it a little to make it sound less like a computer translated it.) I reckon you're specifically looking for other Danish speakers, so you'd be able to have some deeper conversations than perhaps you feel comfortable for in English. I don't speak Danish though, but welcome and good luck.

I was about ready to think that Aspies really do speak a different language from NT's.

I'd like to wish you a very Grumpy welcome - in English! Howdy! :)

I didn't know you could speak Danish? :)

Thank you for all the replies. Yea i know I should probably have written this in english (instead of my secret code 1st language :p
At least now you can clearly see that nobody from Denmark have seen your post yet. Or maybe you are the only one from there o_O:D

I believe that secret code may have got King pretty excited? I take it he got the secret code?

(meget god, meget flot). :p

*very good, very nice*

Howdy! =)

The linguist in me actually got all excited for reading something else besides English here :D
Ditto! I had fun analyzing the words and little circles. I was in the ballpark, but hadn't specifically guessed Denmark. I was working through analyzing my memories of Norway and Sweden. With little Ozone songs and Numa Numa Guy playing in the back of my head...

Hah... But aren't those guys from Ozone from Romania or so?

For some reason my mind went Denmark right away... and actually managed to comprehend it for the large majority as well... to me it looks like German with some added diacritics, lol. But really, I don't know why my mind made up Denmark though... your guess might very well be right in Norway or Sweden, since for anyone not speaking any of those languages they probably all look similar. But much like the way I understood most of it, I do with plenty of other languages; including most scandinavian ones... I just stay far, far away from Finnish, lol

For me it was all about geography- not language.

*Vestjylland*

Dead giveaway for us geography/atlas geeks.

Hej Esben,

And in English for everyone else :p

You're most welcome to PM me, but I can be really bad at replying sometimes - not 'cause I don't want to, it just seems so unmanageable (not sure that's the right word??) sometimes (must be the Aspie in me hehe)

Yeah, that sounds right. I never think of Romania for some reason, even though I like the name and they have some beautiful countryside.

And they do look a LOT alike to some of us outsiders. I don't know my jeg from my jetzt. Heh, but if I was one of those linguistic savant autistics, you can bet I'd be all over Europe! Very fun to pronounce a lot of those words.
