This blew my mind. There were many other humanoids and archaic homos. Makes me sad to think what we did to them....not that they would not do the same to us....maybe not.

Stunning that wherever we go, we send species into extinction, soil space, land, and sea, leave behind a trail of terrors and murders and deaths and holocausts and genocides....and yet 75,000 yrs ago we were down to 12,000 humans! And now we have designed enough weapons to wipe us all out and take out thousands of species on our way down.

It feels so strange to realize WE are the infectious agent, the plague, the bacteria gone wild, the virus on a rampage. We were almost exterminated and like a bacteria which built super immunity, well, we did it. Now we are about to kill the host and all the little creatures and cells in the host. Feels so odd to BE the pestilence.....

No, the few Gandhis, Buddha's, Jesus', etc don't make up for the loss of our planet----and for nothing more than quarterly profits and greed. Yikes!

And even before these late humanoids, our early ancestral lineage was quite bushy. The lineage of genus Homo was able to out compete Australopithicus and Paranthropus. At one point there were four species of early Homo among other hominid cousins

DNA code (as an entity) is at fault here, it try to preserve itself into the future by trying everything out. The evaluation is the ones that generate DNA again, copied correctly enough to produce another generation that successfully make a copy.
And I will also mention soap. It kills everything within a lipid membrane.
And btw any human is not causing anything to go instinct (except possibly every time we use soap), the group humans (humanity) do lots of horrible things to the environment together.

So, what is needed? Educate humanity better and much faster. And stop using at large scale stuff that is not tested for large scale impact. Just a few thoughts I got, feel free to disagree.

Maybe. This is a bit complicated so many things show up then goes away again.
