did any one lived in Toronto cananda

I'd like to know that too. I'm sure somebody will come along any moment and answer that question too. Calling all Canandians ! Dont be invisible ! We know there's a Canadian presence on the board !

I don’t live in Canada, but I don’t live that far from Québec and Montreal (relatively speaking.)
I have only positive things to say about my experiences in Canada :)

Born and raised in Calgary, western Canada... Still live here

I did live one hour north of Toronto for three years, in the city of Barrie, then moved back to Calgary again... And also went to college for two years in Grande Prairie (northern Alberta), also many years ago...

What I love about western Canada is the open, and rather empty, prairie region... Not sure if I would want to move back to Ontario, I felt - in a sense - claustrophobic there with everything so close together in southern Ontario... I love driving for hours on empty prairie roads with hardly any small towns at all...

My wife grew up In Toronto. She lived there until age twenty two. I drove monthly there for two years to visit her in the North York region for 3 weeks at a time as I was from western New York. We had a mostly a live-in relationship at her Mom's condo in Toronto those years, before we snuck out one night without her mother noticing, after my future wife's bags were packed, crossing the border to get to my place in New York to get married, living there then for eight years before moving to the northwest part of Michigan.

She and I went to so many relaxing and fun places in Ontario those few years before marriage, to not have to deal with her cold, controlling, materialistic and critical Mom. People think Toronto is just loud, with tons of cars and people, with big buildings everywhere, but we found tons of parks and quiet nature places there to hang out, too. I didn't mind driving her around to find all those places, and as she knew the whole area well. I was shocked by the price of gas, store items, and housing there then though, as I was used to prices much lower across the border.

I haven't been there, but I have heard good things about the Canadians.
