Did you like the power rangers show?

I dont know why but a topic in this forum reminded me about the power rangers ( a topic by pink jazz)
It was about colors and suddenly I thought, well I like all power rangers ( color kek) and I think each color can be suited to a particular thing ( very general idea here not what I actually thought but thats the point.)

And then I said to myself why not watching some power rangers stuff on youtube I mean I dont know much about it.

And when I saw the theme and some actions scene I realized that as A kid I probably watched like at least 5 seasons of it( maybe not all episodes because you dont realy choose that when you are young). the theme songs give me chills etc..

Its been one week that I basically spend like almost an hour a day watching stuff about power rangers on youtube and sometimes I am like " yeah I know this bad guy ! "I know this zord" etc...the game is to found out how much of it I watched. The hardest part is to know If I know them because I had the toy of it or because I saw the episode ( like the original power rangers I think I had the toy but didnt see the season or maybe just the very last one because one bad guy im sure iv seen him in the show.)

I remember one day I saw a group of people cosplaying the original power rangers and it felt so real like It was the actual show.


I think that my favorite season is the zeo rangers show, I have not a favorite rangers I love a lots of them but in the zeo rangers I think that the green ranger has the best helmet , the red star ( kek) is ridiculous to me xD, and the golden ranger is amazing but I can go one with at least 10 of them.

And overall I think that power rangers is one of the reasons why I like comics book heroes(I know its more the opposite in chronological order but im not from the 60'), hard rock/metal ( the theme songs are dope to me).

Even captain falcon like its my main character in smash bros and man visually he could be one of the lone ranger that each season has. xD

Anyway, did you like power rangers? what is your favorite seasons and characters?
Do you have any tv show or child experience with entertainement that you think shaped your taste in the long term?


Edit : I even think its started one of the weird thing I do in my room, basically imitating some "move" that the rangers do" In this show or other video games or serie I like to do what they do even if its unrealistic most of the time.

" for instance the way they do stupid exagerated jump backward when they get hit or stuff like that..

And later one year I tried to do some jujitsu ( didnt last long) ,when day we were exercising with our kick and the teacher and my friend was surprised that I looked more confident with my kicks than with my fists xD

I only watched Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers when the show just started. I liked it but I didn’t really watch it religiously. If I have to pick any show I watched in my childhood that really made an impact, I’d say it was the X-files. I can still remember which episode is the first one I ever saw. I wasn’t allowed to watch, but I was hooked from the first episode.

Thats one of the best part of this, just like when I read Dragon ball my brother didnt want me to read it xD

But that was way later and I dont think I could get into a tv show like xfiles when I was like 6 xD

I think the way they overreact with their body is realy funny for us xD
BTW the french dub of the show is realy great and I think this is also part of why I liked it.

Meh, I fancied the original Pink and Yellow Rangers.

Lol thats funny ^^' I am more into dreaming of being a ranger myself kek, It was not the power ranger in particular but some sentai inspired manga called wing man , I read that later and for years everyday I daydreamed about that xD

Iv heard about Thuy Trang story, car accident shouldnt exist ;s

My problem is that many of my childhood toys got trashed by my parents because I broke 80% of them while playing with them, you know when a ranger was hit when I was playing well I did that just like in the tc show and flew them across the room kek...id like to find them back

I had a toy that I actually felt bad about breaking it and I used sparadra and other stuffs to keep it alive lol , I grew attached to that figure like it was a being ( a spiderman figure)
