Disney's Fantasia - "Night on Bald Mountain"...

(The following is part of the Disney film Fantasia - in particular the first part of its final segment. The following is the theatrical version, which is not as fast as the version you get on DVD/Blu-Ray version)

"Bald Mountain," according to tradition, is the gathering place of Satan and his followers. Here on Walpurgisnacht, which is the equivalent of our own Halloween, the creatures of evil gather to worship their master.
Under his spell, they dance furiously...until the coming of dawn and the sounds of church bells...send the infernal army slinking back into their abodes of darkness.

Surely Bare Mountain is the more idiomatic translation? I only associate the word bald with receding hairlines myself.

The music is by Modest Mussorgsky, orchestrated by Maurice Ravel.

I loved the visuals of the devil and tiny demons. I always thought that the little demons were cute and just neat to look at. My cousins thought that they creeped them out.
