Post a link (or paste the information) on how to do something that interests you.
It can be a profound interest of yours, or more of a 'Huh, look at that.' depth.
Humorous or serious.

Whatever it takes so that we know how to Do It.

I'm glad that I was alone in my room when I tried this.

Are you sure that all of the steps are there?

Rules For Calling Shotgun - Never Ride in the Back again The Offical Shotgun Rules

Samples from the 60 Rules for calling Shotgun include:

Ancillary Rules
2.1 Footwear
Your footwear for the ride in Shotgun must be on your feet, before you can call Shotgun. Since you must be outside to call Shotgun, some people will simply grab their shoes/sandals, jump outside the building, and call Shotgun before putting their shoes on. This has been deemed Gaping, and is not a legal procedure. You must have your shoes on (if you choose to wear any) before you may call Shotgun....

Exceptions
Although the Shotgun rules have been created with ultimate fairness in mind, there are situations where exceptions to the standard rules need to be implemented.

3.1 I Love My Mommy
Moms automatically get shotgun, period. If you make your mom sit in the back seat, you are a evil person. MORE…

3.2 Hitchhikers
Hitchhikers cannot call Shotgun. They should be happy just to have a ride, and calling Shotgun in this situation is disrespectful.

CRAYOLA EYELINER or TATTOO

So...not a good idea.

4 Ways to Make a Temporary Tattoo - wikiHow
The girl next door & I did stuff like this, when we were 9 & 10 years old.
Also, used water color...when we weren't painting rocks with them.
Didn't know about putting hair spray on afterward.
The Water Slide Paper technique could be fun, if you want a
temporary DIY tat.

"The science of orbeez
Orbeez are superabsorbent polymers-that means they are made of several smaller molecules joined together. With the addition of water they can grow to more than 100 times their volume. That's right, place a tiny Orbeez bead in water and watch it swell!. Orbeez will grow to 19-13 mm (1/4- ½ in).The water is absorbed into the spaces between the molecules.

These polymers were invented for agricultural use back in the 1960s to irrigate crops during times of drought. Today you will find superabsorbent polymers in diapers to prevent leaks, in food packages to absorb liquid and in floral vases to hydrate cut flowers."

This is a timelapse video of what normally occurs in about 40 minutes at a topfuel(nitro) dragracing event. The entire engine is disassembled after a run for a total rebuild and to allow it to cool. During that time the clutch is also replaced. After the rebuild, the car is retuned and warmed up for the next round.

The engines are estimated to produce over 10,000 horsepower, but only run for several minutes for burnouts and staging. The actual pass under power is less than four seconds now.

The first time you experience it,it scares the heck out of you from the noise, sends vibrations thru your entire body and shakes the ground. One topfueler idling in the pits about a quarter mile away sounds louder that a train locomotive under power when standing near it.
A girl getting her first experience :D

Standard practice used to be seating the clutch during the warmup, but it is no longer done that way. When the crew chief was reaching for the throttle to "burp" it,no matter how many times you have been to the track, all the observers jump when they mash open the throttle. The pit crews act like nothing happened and are cool as cucumbers.

Warmup and two burps...watch the people that are standing near it

This is a video I found that shows how much vibration the produce all the way up in the bleachers

This is an outdated video of how it all works. These cars will exceed 325 miles per hour in under 4 seconds elapsed time in 1,000 feet of track

How a Top Fuel Dragster Works

If you are interested in seeing all of this in action, please watch this video

This is very far advanced to the shenanigans I have done on the same track running a quarter mile in a modified street machine.
When you are running against a clock and another opponent, the quarter mile seems like the longest road you have ever traveled :D

Not exactly 'build your own bot' but similar.
For me this site combines the pleasure of using a
keyboard with exercise in constructing conversation.

I like that, apparently, it would be possible to 'teach'
the program to respond in ways that are preferable/
more appropriate.

The guy/program called "George" can be pretty
obnoxious. "Joan" is not so bad, but frequently
off the mark/spacey.

You can use this without charge.

Above link is where you can talk to a few bots.
See the blue vertical list of names, on the right
side of the page? "George," "Joan," etc....

You don't have to sign in or anything to use
this site.
