Do you have favorite shades of particular colors?

I was wondering, do you have favorite shades of particular colors?

I would probably say I have favorite shades of pink, red, blue, green, and purple, but not sure about yellow, orange, black, white, gray, or brown. Many of these are influenced by my favorite clothing brand IZOD.
  • My favorite shade of pink is Fairy Tale.
  • My favorite shade of red is Real Red.
  • My favorite shade of blue is Mazarine Blue.
  • My favorite shade of green is Absinthe Green.
  • My favorite shade of purple is Sheer Lilac.

All the colors in the tropical Caribbean ocean (blues, turquoises and lavenders) plus the blue waters of Fiji.

And here is a nice variety of nameless oranges.

I don't think so. At least not in my favorite color. But it is tied to nature in my case, and each color is important because of its difference from the others, or in some cases cyclic occurrence. Spring green is beautiful for its temporariness for example.

Here is a nice color, the color of a tall grass prairie in fall.

I love purple & always have, preferably a mid-tone with slight shift to a blue (or cool) tone. Not sure what the name of that color would be as I only know the names of military style colors.

I'm picky about colors. My favorite color when I was a kid was mango yellow and all of my shoes were that color. Now that I'm older and wear more feminine clothes I still like to have the same color shoe which is now red, but red is not my favorite color. My favorite color in general is a dusty but light slate blue that I can't find the exact name of, it shines best in fabrics like silk or velvet and sheer.

I notice whenever I shop at Forever 21 or Free People, I always buy the same colors:
* Black
* White
* Red
* Neon Green
* Gold
* Yellow Gold
* Dark Orange
* Light Gray
* Nude Pink
* Olive Green
* Yellow
* Lime Green
