Still, only like 1 in 20 of them if that will not be a welcome message.
I don't see the point in a lot of your threads because there's no real discussion and they die literally after a day and it's hard to navigate around the general discussion board and keep up-to-date with the constructive threads when there's so many... well... basically spam threads. No offence but it is a discussion board, not a spam board.
I know I'm not in any authoritative position but I think the feeling is shared with other members tbh.

I think we should dedicate a sub-forum to Chair.   

On a serious note, I don't really see his threads as spam. They do give a boost to this place and generate discussion. Maybe just cut down on the amount of them and let someone else have a turn would be a good idea.

Naw. Only a few of my threads could be considered as being "spam" threads, but I just like to have fun at times. I've created a lot of threads lately, yes, but hardly are what I'd consider as being spammy in nature. Look through the first page of General:

Out of all the above threads, only three (the striked out threads) could be considered as being "spam" or "joke" threads. I looked through the Aspies Discussion board, and only this Tim_Tex thread could be considered as being spam, though it really isn't - I'm genuinely curious to know about how many people know of him.

I thought I'd give this place a boost by creating new topics. There was a lack of activity here. I created the "I'll let you create threads" topic to let you know that I won't be creating so many threads for a while because I don't want anyone to get annoyed. I don't see anything bad with me trying to boost activity here, even if a few of my threads are admittedly silly.

All the ones I underlined I find spam either because the subjects so narrow there wouldn't be an good that would come out of it or a long discussion more than a page, or it's just a poll on a question which wouldn't make any real discussion and seems like you made it impulsively.
We have different definitions of the term clearly.
IDK maybe it's just me.

I don't see anything wrong with Chair creating as many threads as he wants. As long as the titles are meaningful so that people can skip over them if they are not interested. And as long as it is stuff that he is genuinely interested in and not just creating threads and posts for the sake of creating threads and posts.

I used to be like you, Chair, starting about 20 threads a day. And doing other things that got people excited too. Once I did it on another board too and one person also suggested a special subforum for me (joking of course).


I came close to meeting Yim Tex. Only reason I didn't was that I couldn't get in the car without vomiting (I was pregnant). Then months later Tim PMs me on AFF saying he's moving to Texas, where I lived for a year and plan to go back to, and we hvae a lot of friends from WP in Texas. I met about 8 of them at various locations in Houston.

I'm friends with Tim but haven't spoken to him in two years I think. He spams the forum with his Welcome to WP posts and threads about how he can't find a woman and his rigid criteria. He ignored the advice for the past three years. I haven't seen him made anymore of that stuff lately after the incident in one of the threads.

A friend of mine, upon hearing I was moving to Texas, told me to steer clear of Tim Tex because "he is SO a predator".


I met people from online for the fiorst time when I was 16. I crashed their mini-convention, anyway. Long story about a background of hacking, trolling, intense discussions, etc. on the boards and me being banned from the entire Myst community. It was hilarious. My dad came with me and talked to the people for a while and back at home he just shook his head and said, "And you were the youngest one there? Yes, you were, weren't you." He thought they should get a life once they're not trapped in school any more. Actually, I was the youngest Myst fan there, but there was a boy about 12 years old who sorta liked Myst and was the son of one of the full-blown Myst fanatics, and then there was a 1-year-old baby girl who knew nothing about Myst probably.

That's just a pointless way to attract attention, can't he just simply just talk to her, would of just made things simpler. **Facepalm** :lol:

They had a long distance relationship and saw each other once a year. She wanted to wait till marriage to have sex and they decided to break up. Now he claims she broke up with him. I have a friend who talks to him on YIM and she has told me this stuff about him. She has ranted him him to be because his ex was all he talked about and he was saying he was going to kill himself if he can't get her. So she had to talk to him to talk him out of it. She has severe AS but yet she can handle this stuff and I can't. I can't stand suicide threats and people who say they are going to do it. I never want to hear it. I stay out of those threads and I don't want to hear it from my friends. So if you're feeling suicidal, I am not the right person for you to be talking to about.

What I find strange is he has never talked about her and saying he wants her back and she is his only hope. He has never posted about writing her letters or calling her or sending her emails. But yet on the forum it's another story. He doesn't mention her and he complains about not having women and they must like South Park and The Simpsons. But yet his ex doesn't like them and he still wants her? That doesn't add up. He is two faced and when people are two faced, I get skeptical of them.

I honestly think he was just posting those threads for attention and it's a form of spamming. But sadly that spam is allowed. Sadly the mods can't see it and they don't find it a violation in the rules. Hello it's spamming and spamming isn't allowed on the forum. Some loop hole. More of a gray area.

Would of guessed... Actually I weirdly agree with you, how on earth is he getting away with spamming? That is rather interesting?
You could ask the mods there, doubt they are going to give you any details? I've already tried once and no luck.
