Do you listen to podcasts?

Turanga Veela

Straddling universes
I tend to drift when I'm listening to running verbal streams with no visual input (audiobooks for me are a no-go), but I can enjoy lighter, conversational stuff, for the most part.

Nerdist, Filmspotting, Book Riot, Game of Microphones, Pop Culture Happy Hour, and Marc Maron are some that I enjoy. I don't listen to even nearly every episode (except for Game of Microphones) - only if the topics or people are of particular interest. And I have to be doing something with almost zero chance of interruption or distraction, like showering.

I do listen/watch Yahtzee Croshaw's Let's Drown Out series if that counts. Sometimes I don't really watch it as I do just have it on in the background whilst doing other things.

The closest I've ever come to listening to Podcasts was from watching The Ricky Gervais Show on Channel 4 some time back, which was just podcasts from some time back of controversial comedian Ricky Gervais talking with his friends Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington about various topics.
The difference between the TV show and the podcasts was that they made it into an animated show. Here's an episode:

Let's Play Video Games (formerly Destructoid UK) - and other podcasts by Laura K Buzz
Night Vale
Fake Geek Girls
No Such Thing As A Fish
Waller FM
We Hope It's Chips
Edgeland
Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast (RHLSTP!)
The Dave Gorman Podcast
Razorcake
Left Wing Propaganda Podcast
Washed Up Emo

The Ricky Gervais Show and Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast and Thursday Afternoon Monday Morning Podcast.

Welcome To Night Vale of course, and I also use the 'Sleep With Me' podcast to help me get to sleep. (That one's FANTASTIC. Basically it's someone with a droning voice telling very dull stories badly. Which sounds horrible, but it's actually produced to help people with insomnia get to sleep, and it WORKS.)

I love podcasts! I listen to This American Life, Storycorp, Autastic (Comedians Guide to Autism), Judge John Hodgman, Hidden Brain, Iron Radio. There's more, but those are the ones I listen to primarily. I listen to them when I exercise and at lunch when I'm working.

I love podcasts! I have a lot of public radio podcasts in my feed (Pop Culture Happy Hour, Wait-Wait Don't Tell Me, Ask Me Another, etc.). Mental Illness Happy Hour, Star Talk, Stuff You Missed in History Class, The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe on the more educational side of things. I don't listen to music in the car, and I travel a lot (2+ hours a day) and podcasts help me pass the time.
