I reaaly want a job even if its part time but i havent got any proper qualifications, so its really hard for me.
Ive been to college and started a couple of courses they were to help bulid my confidence up, then i finally done a course that ive always wanted to do, a beauty course i was only there 2 months because i got bullied because i was too quiet.
But now I just want a job but having communication problems makes it so difficult.
How is it for you guys?

Personally, I have failed my education thus far. This has mainly been due to my lack of attendance at school due to various reasons, some medical - including Aspergers. Since I was rarely at school and missed out on important coursework, I failed my GSCE's as coursework count towards the final exams. I went on to college to do a First Diploma in ICT and passed with a merit if I recall correctly - this was dispite rarely attending. I progressed on to a National Diploma (next level up) but eventually dropped out as a number of things were making it difficult for me to attend. My sleep disorder was a big factor in this.

At the moment, I have enrolled in an Open Univeristy course which means that I can learn from home, in my own comfort zone, without people around me and at a time schedule that suits me. This course is due to start tomorrow. As of yet, I have not bothered looking for employment as I do not have any qualifications except a First Diploma in ICT at Merit level. I doubt that will get me far in the work field by it's self. I don't have the crucial Maths or English GCSE's due to my lack of attendance and not being able to complete coursework. So I'm really at a dissadvantage in my current state. However, in the current economic climate, even those with plenty of grades and qualifications cannot get jobs either. I've heard of people with degree's working as cashiers because they cannot find suitable employment.

I would recommend you try another course at college or else give distance learning (e.g. Open University) a go. You can get grants/funding if you are disabled (which includes Asperger's/Autism). The website is here if you want to have a look. Other than that, check with careers advisors or your local job centre. If you cannot get employment, try apply for ESA.

I know the frustrations of trying to look for a job with no success. It literally took me a year to get a job after graduating from college. I figured that having a college degree would help me with my job search, but job experience and networking obviously took precedent. I'm terrible at networking and did not have much work experience, so nothing was really going right for me. I finally got a job working for a company that buys structured settlements, and I hated it. Partly because the job was terrible and partly because my co-workers were total jerks. I don't know how I lasted at that job a month, but I did and then I got a job working as an unemployment examiner for the state of Nevada here in the United States.

I worked there for two years and since October I now have a new job, as a disability adjudicator, also working for the state. I think my social skills have gotten better over the last few years because I've had to have contact with the public quite often. It helps that it is over the phone though because I doubt I would want to be face to face to some of the people I have had to deal with on the phone. But anyway, I can understand why it seems so overwhelming looking for a job. When you have an interview and they don't hire you, you are always second guessing yourself and wondering what you did wrong, when in reality you probably did fine and other circumstances led to you not getting hired.

I have a part time job that I work at a few times a week. It was pretty easy for me to get it. I got help from a Job Placement Specialist.

Yeah I have sleeping problems too, ive also got epilepsy also and the doctors thought i was having fits in my sleep i had to go to a sleep clinic. So i get really tired and its hard for me to get up in the mornings.
So when I get a job it will be hard as i'll be really tired.
I done a one day beauty course last month and i was really nervous so i dont noif i've done too well I go back and see her in may and hopefully will get my certificate Me. and my mum are thinking of doing a business together and thinking of doing beauty at people's houses instead of working at a salon it might be easier for me. and like you said about people with degrees, My mum and my sister in law have both got degrees and even they cant get a job. But hopefully things will work out.. :D
