Hi, I was a little bit curios about this because as an Aspie we tend to select specific kind of food, or the same food over and over again, and the only food I like its the one that it's prepared without onions or I can't feel it or taste it, blend to the point that I can't see it (the thickness of a hair and been mixed in small portions with a bigger portion of others ingredients).

For me, onion must be fried until its brown and dead. The only other way I like is pickled if it is done well.
I don't understand people who insist on putting huge chunks of raw onion in salads or such like.

Cooked onions make me want to throw up. But I tolerate fried cut in tiny pieces or very lightly cooked. I can eat them fresh with no issues.

Onions are the bane of my existence! ;) It doesn't matter if one miniscule sliver made it's way into a sandwich or sub, along with the lettuce (frequent occurrence), that putrid aroma will hit me the instant I open the takeout bag, and I will spend the next 30 minutes eating that sub in a contemptuous mood. ;)

Onions are a garnish, and a good one. Don't expect me to eat them raw, but putting them on sandwiches and burgers? Excellent.:hamburger:

I used to hate onions, but over time I found that it was more how they were prepared. When I was young I was given pizza that had medium-sized chunks of wilted, mushy onion or burgers with the same, but that's nothing like diced onion in fresh salsa, crispy onion rings, or crunchy onion slices in stir-fry.

Maybe a silly question: your name is Licorice, do you like stuff with licorice in it?
That's, by the way, another flavor/ ingredient/ product I could never get used too. But I know some people who are huge fans of licorice. :)

All kinds of licorice, actually, black included. ;)

I know it's a strong flavor that not many people like. I have some spicy, chewy ginger candies I grab from the "Asian" section in my local grocery store.

Ah, here it is. Someone blogged about it: Japanese Snack Reviews: Sina Ginger Candy

I like onion, but it doesn't like me. Hamburgers I'm picky about, the onion must be a slice to the side because I want it to stay chilled and crunchy.
