Doritos think they're slick:

There are "new" Doritos flavors in stores (once again). They think they are slick and are titling their new products whatever, but they are clearly just old school flavors. Case in point - I purchased the new LATE NIGHT DORITOS. These are absolutely just the original taco flavor Doritos that really made folks like them in the first place. I swear it to be true! Haha. Anyway, they aren't the first company, especially a food company to do this sort of thing. I just needed somewhere to call them out. Can't fool me Doritos. I know you too well.

Also, due to the fact that some of you may have read my healthy eating and exercise posts...you have caught me...I deserve cheat snacks here and there, haha. Doritos are among my few vices. I own it.

I prefer the Spicy Nachos Doritos flavor, myself.

Along with a can of Mountain Dew.

I am not having much of that these days because I am working and succeeding at losing weight.

If you own it then it's not cheating. All is good. :)

(I don't really like the concept of "cheat meals" because who exactly would I be cheating on? It's just a choice at a given moment and that seems perfectly fine to me)

I really like the guacamole Doritos, don't know If they still make them.

I prefer chips tho

Ruffles queso being my favorite and now they have some here which is a mixture of flaming hot, worserschire sauce and ruffles queso mixture

Ranch flavored chips are the ones that I like the least but I'd still eat them with lime and Valentina

If you like tortilla chips you can't go wrong with Paki

They're delightful and if you're into spicy food the ghost pepper ones are good but very spicy

I just never really liked corn chips, and I don't buy potato chips often because I like them a little too much. :)

Doritos are my guy's fav, but they have cut back. However, they love the taco shells made from them, and l have bought those, l just don't read the ingredient label.

Haven't eaten any Doritos in decades. My preference for tortilla chips is "South Of The Border" Cantina Thins.

It might me just me, but I feel like Doritos taste different since the pandemic. I don’t like them now. They have a weird after taste. Same with KitKats they don’t taste the same.

"They are exactly the same, and no changes were made. We use exactly the same suppliers, ingredients, and processing. Any changes you perceive are the result of Covid." -- The Food Manufacturers. My cynicism makes me skeptical.

Marketing is a psychological game. One that many consumer product corporations play well.

I'll leave it at that.

Well, one of the things I do know is that ingredients used to make products have been cut back, due to supply and pricing. So it may if affected or changed how stuff of that nature is made. But that's my guess.
