I like a lot of bands in the Netherlands. Ones that sing in English, though. Here's a few notable songs I am fond of...

Golden Earring "Radar Love"
George Baker Selection "Little Green Bag"
Wally Tax "Miss Wonderful"
Tee-Set "She Likes Weeds"
Luv' "Trojan Horse"
Vitesse "Rosalyn"
Time Bandits "Endless Road"
Alice Deejay "Will I Ever"
Focus "Sylva"
Earth and Fire "Weekend"
The Motions "Wasted Words"
Shocking Blue "Venus"
Tony Sherman "Tonight"
BZN "Blue Eyes"

Cool. I'm Dutch, my dad's parents were both born in The Netherlands. I wonder if my grandfather knows any of the songs you mentioned. I see that one song is from the 1970s, he was in America by then but still curious, I may have to ask him.

Heheh, as a Dutch citizen I have to say congrats for listening to the oldies. And not listening to actual Dutch music.

Its odd that you're Dutch Butterfly88. My ancestors were too. Ive never beennor do I speak the language:( I've heard that English is very prevalent in the low lands (holland).

Every playlist has to include a one-hit wonder. This goes even further - it's a one-word wonder. And you thought the Dutch spoke such good English...

One of the presenters of the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, Edsilia Rombley, had previously represented the Netherlands at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham (the last time the UK hosted it):
