Hey, all, E2LA here. Well, I guess it's time for my end-of-year address.
I've said it before in the past, but it bears repeating: Roy Mustang once said "Nothing's perfect, the world's not perfect, but it's there for us, trying the best it can. That's what makes it so damn beautiful." Yes, this year has had its challenges, but again, it wasn't all bad for me. It was merely okay. Yes, there has been lots of good that has gone on in this world in spite of the seemingly negative news you tend to hear.
I have been the kind of person who wants to find the good aspects of life and encourage others to do the same; and it's served me well. Yes, even I have days when I have lots of anxiety, and I sometimes fear the worst, but I also have to tell myself that things may not be as bad as they seem.
Doris Day once said "Que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be, the future's not ours to see." And no matter what crap will get thrown my way, I know that things may turn out alright.
To all of my friends: Thank you for being there, each and every one of you. Yes, I have a lot of friends, and I can't talk to you all at once, but I am always here for you, no matter what life will bring us.
Because I think you make me what I am: An amazing person.
I don't know what the new year will bring us. But this much I know: I'll be there to face all the challenges head-on. Here's hoping that 2022 will be much less rougher on us than the last two years have been.
Take care of yourself, and each other - and have an amazing 2022.
Much love.
