Feeling lonely without a boyfriend.

I study full time at university and I really love the course I do.
In the past few months, I've kind of felt withdrawn ect... and all those extra classic aspie traits!
Sometimes, I feel like I want to share my ideas, thoughts and feelings with someone, but at uni that becomes very difficult.

In the past I used to feel 'immune' to relationships and showed little interest, but now in the past few months, I've felt a lot of hormonal changes are starting to affect my mood ect... Maybe that's the reason.

I'm sure you'll find someone; if there's any Clubs and the like there that cater to your interests, that'd be a good start, that way you already have something in common with someone

This forum is full of guys looking for a girlfriend. I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding one that lives relatively close unless you live in Svalbard.

I wouldn't say it would be fair to simply go for a guy that might be looking for more if you just feel lonely... I mean you should get a boyfriend because you like him... not because you want to bounce ideas off someone.

I feel for you. I grew up alone despite being surrounded by people, torn between the desire to end my loneliness one way or another (one of which was suicide) or find a way to socialize. This lasted through college, when I finally accepted not being alone was not an option. If you learn and understand what autism does to you and accept it, things will start to get better.

Everyone experiences autism differently, but remember that you are never alone here.
