I hear radio waves. .. in my head
Hi everyone, I'm Jk. (Jamie)
I'm from south Wales UK and I'm 39. I self diagnosed a month or so back. Up until then I never knew why I was .. 'Jk' .. it's weird, cause I was like a normal person but also a weird and awkward one. Like an enigma, but also an open book :)
Cut a longer story a bit shorter, I became aware of a few aspie traits on TV and felt a connection. Did some research spoke to my health nurse, Then I identified a lot. Now I consider myself asd/aspie until told otherwise.
I Score high in tests, and now catch myself doing things. But what sealed it was this site. Honestly guys, your stories have had me in stitches (laughing hysterically) late at night, and sad for you too.

The stories have been way more helpful than YouTube and other info. So thank you all Soo so much.

At mo, I'm waiting for assess. Sometime this year which is cool.

Its the 30 odd years of my life wondering about random and serious stuff all the time, and not being able to keep track of tasks, info.. why people bother me, why I feel awkward, why my balance is off near people, etc quite supressing scary stuff.

Anyway, a lot of the fears and shame has passed cause "I KNOW" I finally know.. it feels great. Aspie, practically answers all my questions.

I have been reading here for a few weeks, and been too distant, so here I am, I'm Jamie. Or Jk. I like music ; pink Floyd, rush, radiohead nofx.

Alright gang thanks for reading and sharing your laughs and tears, catch ya later

J

Hi spaceman. Welcome to AC!!!

It is great that you have finally decided to introduce yourself here. I am glad that you have enjoyed the site and its people as well.

Thanks for the welcome posts. I'm here to share stories and offer opinions or advice if possible.

I think I'll post a zone out story later on. Cheers guys

are you catatonic or epileptic
Don't know? I pass as normal. Just rolled with all that goes on. Just thought I'd get over it etc...

I thought catatonic was a permanent thing like you see in the movies.
I'm not like that.

I just go off somewhere for a while.. sometimes I'm slightly aware of real life and I'm just like on buffer.. .. .. others I blank off and don't heat people, or have a first clue what's going on above my head. :) hope that answered your qu.
